Our family will be visiting from 12-19 throught 12-26, for very Merry Xmas. Never been during xmas, heard it is beautiful. We are staying at Coronado Springs. What are your thoughts on the resort? What is the best building to request?Stayed at CBR in April.

Hi Jessica! My thoughts on Coronado Springs are very positive.  I have stayed in both resorts and would choose Coronado Springs any time over Caribbean Beach resort!

Both resorts are quite large but Coronado has a very nice main building that is accessible to all and includes a great food court, dining room, lounge, store, and more.  It has several pools and similar recreation amenities as Caribbean.  The biggest difference in the two is that Coronado Springs is the only resort that has been completely refurbished and all rooms now include two queen beds versus the doubles.  Since it is often used as a convention resort these rooms reflect that with a bit more pizzazz in their decor.

If you want to be fairly close to the main building then you can request buildings 1, 2, or 3 in the Casistas or buildings 9A and 9B in the Cabanas. The other locations would find it easier to take the internal buses to reach the main building, El Centro.
