Hi, my family and I are visiting the resort in Aug of next year , and I just want to know if the dining package a good deal .cause when I added it to the package my bill went up almost 1,300 do u think a family of 6 can eat that much?

    Hello, Tiffany,

We have used the Disney Dining Plan several times, and each time we kept careful records to track our costs and found we did come out ahead each time.  However, we did careful planning beforehand to make sure we made choices that made the most of the dollars.

To help you make the decision, I'd look over the offerings in the Disney Dining Plan and do some sample menu choices (many are available at the Walt Disney World website as well as www.allearsnet.com) by looking at the online menus.  It may give you an idea if you would indeed spend the money you've invested.

I'd also encourage you to read the article "The Disney Dining Plan Exposed" by Stacey Lantz (you can find it through a Google search). I'd also visit www.disneyfoodblog.com and click on Disney Dining Plan at the top menu to read many articles about the best deals on the Disney Dining Plan.  I think these articles should help you to make a more educated decision to see if the plan will work for you.

If you have more questions, please let us know.  We are happy to help!
