My family (4) will be visiting 5-23-5/27/16 and we are purchasing the Disney Deluxe Dining plan. If we are paying for that and our passes in full do we still have to prepay? Isn't that what the DDP is for? Help/explanation please & thank you!

    Hi Ashton,

My family love using the Disney Dining Plan.

When making Advance Dining Reservations, you will notice that in the vast majority of cases, a credit card guarantee is required. Do not worry though as your credit card won’t be charged unless you either don’t show up for your reservation or cancel after 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the day before your arrival.

There are however a couple of dining locations which do require full prepayment of your meal in advance such as Cinderella's Royal Table, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show and Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

Should you wish to make a dining reservation at any of these dining locations, you will need to prepay in full at the time of booking. When you arrive at the dining location on the day of your reservation, just tell your server that you wish to use your Disney Dining Plan meal entitlements for the meal and they will deduct the required Table-Service meal credits for each person in your travel party and at the same time will refund the prepaid amount back to the credit card which payment was taken from at the time of booking.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
