Hello, my family and I are visiting the Pop Century Resort in January ( next week ) and the weather at night is in the 40s. Do the rooms have a heater? Or just ac?

    Hey there, hi there Leah,

The countdown is on for your magical vacation! Pop Century Resort is so fun and colorful, and it's the home of Tie-dye Cheesecake!

People tend to assume that the weather in Florida fluctuates between warm and hot throughout the year. Having traveled to Walt Disney World many times in January, I can absolutely state that it can be downright cold.

There is a thermostat in every resort hotel room that guests can adjust to their own preference. If you have any issues with the temperature in your room, don't hesitate to call housekeeping to come assist you. They'll even bring you extra blankets if needed.

The Disney Skyliner is scheduled for maintenance during your stay. I believe the closure affects the line to EPCOT, but it will still be running to Hollywood Studios. Either way, bus transportation will be available if the Skyliner is closed.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
