Hello! My family and I will be visiting the park for our wedding anniversary in march. We are staying 4 days and were hoping to add the deluxe dining plan, but we only want to go to Disney world one day. Is there any way to do this?

    Hi Alicia!

When you add the Disney Dining Plan, it must be for your entire length of stay. If you are staying 4 nights, you will need to purchase the Deluxe Dining Plan for all 4 nights, so you will have 12 meals total per person on your reservation. There are plenty of fantastic restaurants that are outside of a park. Many Resort hotels have fantastic Table-Service restaurants and some of my favorites! Disney Springs is also a great for using the Dining Plan.

One of my favorites in Disney Springs is Chef Art Smith's Homecoming. This is the epitome of southern comfort food. The hummingbird cake is the best!  Morimoto Asia is great if you like Asian cuisine. (Please note that Morimoto Asia is 1 Table-Service credit for lunch and 2 for dinner.)

My favorite restaurant in a Resort hotel is 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort. This restaurant serves delicious Hawaiian flavors family style, so it is all-you-care-to-eat brought right to your table. If you're looking for a romantic evening to celebrate your anniversary, California Grill is fantastic. This restaurant is atop Disney's Contemporary Resort with beautiful views of Seven Seas Lagoon and the Magic Kingdom. If you make your reservation around the time of the fireworks, you can enjoy the view out on the catwalk. (California Grill is 2 Table-Service credits.)

    Have a magical day!
