Hello there William, and welcome to planDisney!
We're so excited you will soon be our guest in the Happiest Place on Earth. For now, I invite you to relax, pull up a chair, as we present...an answer to your question!
During the reopening period, while restaurant capacity is limited,
reservations are highly recommended for table-service dining. If you have certain places in mind where you'd prefer to eat, I suggest checking for availability right up until the day of your visit. Sometimes I'm able to score a last-minute reservation just before I leave my house. If this isn't possible, consider joining the
Mobile Dine Walk-Up Waitlist using the
Disneyland Mobile App or checking at the podium to see if there are any open tables. The Cast Members appreciate your patience and understanding as they navigate this whole new world, so use your best Mickey manners when inquiring about availability, and hope for the best!
Additionally, you are welcome to bring outside food and drink, so long as you leave
prohibited items, like glass containers and alcoholic beverages, at home. My Mouseketeers have appetites like Winnie the Pooh's, and we always bring snacks from home to keep their tummies from getting too rumbly in between meals. We also bring several bottles of water so everyone stays hydrated during our theme park adventures.
I hope this is helpful, William, and that you have a fantastic time as you
return to a land of magic. Thanks for sending your question our way, and we'll see ya real soon!
Betsy
