    My family is visiting Oct 9-14 and staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins. Are the Fort Wilderness restaurants Trails End and Whispering Canyon walking distance from the cabins? thanks

    This past May I had the opportunity to stay at the Wilderness cabins and enjoyed the peacefulness of that location!  Trails End is the Fort Wilderness restaurant and is located down near the marina and the Hoop de Doo Revue dinner show.  The cabin locations (with the exception of two cabins) would make this a very long walk so you would want to catch the internal bus or rent a golf cart during your stay.  Whispering Canyon restaurant is located in the Wilderness Lodge which is a completely separate resort.  There is a walking path between the two but it is not close and would suggest taking the boat to reach this other resort directly.
