Hello, my family is visiting November 21-28, 2020. We have 4 rooms booked at Port Orleans Riverside for those dates. Do we need to move our reservations to a different resort since Port Orleans is not open?

Hey there, Sarah! Thanks for stopping by planDisney! There’s nothing like planning a vacation to Walt Disney World!

I absolutely LOVE Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. The last time just my wife and I took a vacation to Walt Disney World we stayed here.

As long as Cast Members haven’t reached out to you, I’m hopeful that you’ll still have the opportunity to stay here. As you know, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is currently closed as Walt Disney World Resort hotels are still in a phased reopening period to maintain both health-and-safety measures. However, if plans are to change, a friendly Cast Member will certainly reach out to see how they can work their magic for you and your family.

If you’re interested in another resort now, it can’t hurt to reach out to a Cast Member as I’ve always found that they are happy to help out. In fact, if you’re looking for a Resort hotel suggestion, check out Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. This is one of my all-time favorite hotels, especially since they’ve revamped Old Port Royale.

If you have any other questions please let us know. Otherwise, be sure to tell Mickey I said hello!
