Hi all! My family will be visiting in November, and are looking forward to the new attractions in the parks! Especially the new nighttime events at Animal Kingdom....but park hours in November show that the park closes at 5pm? Am I missing something?

Hi Deborah! It is definitely time to be planning for a November vacation at Walt Disney World. It seems so far away but it will be here before you know it.

Your question is a great one and funny but I tried making some dining this morning for dinner in the Animal KIngdom Park and found that out myself. I think times will change as they get closer to the fall but for right now we have to base it on what they are saying. I talked to reservations this morning and they are confused as well. There has been assumptions that the new evening hours in the park will continue forever but perhaps they are testing it out for the summer months. When November comes it gets cooler and darker earlier so the hours might reflect that as well. Right now you cannot get dining past 5pm at any of the table service locations.

My suggestion is to continue to check back to the www.waltdisneyworld.com site to see if the hours change in the next few months. I will be doing the same which is not convenient but not sure what else to do. I was hoping my family could enjoy the new night time experiences for this park in the fall as well.
