    My family will be visiting this November 21/22 and we are excited as this is our first holiday trip! Does the MK park turn on the beautiful icicle lights on Cinderella's Castle only during the MVMVP or will they be turned on each night at sunset? thanks!

         Wow, you must be so excited that your Walt Disney World vacation is booked for November 2013! I have some awesome news for you because the Cinderella Castle Lighting Ceremony typically starts on the night of the very first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and continues every evening until just after New Years Day.  The Cinderella Castle Lighting Ceremony even happens on nights when there is no Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  The Cinderella Castle Lighting Ceremony typically occurs at dusk. You can check the Times Guide for the time of the Cinderella Castle Lighting Ceremony when you enter the Magic Kingdom on that particular day. My favorite place to watch the Castle Lighting Ceremony is right in front of the Plaza Restaurant or right in front of Cinderella Castle by the Castle Stage.
