HI, My family and I are going to be visiting Nov 27 - Dec 3. I was just wondering when the Thanksgiving crowds begin to get smaller? Thanks

Hi Ashley!  My family used Thanksgiving week for many years as our family reunion vacation.  We found that the crowds on Thanksgiving plus the Friday and Saturday after were the most crowded days in the parks.  Starting Sunday the crowds would thin out some as that was a travel day for many families so it was a big check-out at the resorts.

Crowds are one of the hardest things to predict as we can only go by previous years numbers and experiences. Things change and so do the crowd patterns. I feel you can still bank on the fact that starting with the Sunday after Thanksgiving the crowds will be thinner...how thin is hard to know! In any case make sure you have planned dining reservations in advance and have a good park plan in place so no matter what you find with the crowds you will still enjoy your great vacation!
