Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jerry!
Dining is one of the best parts of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and thinking about what I'm going to eat is one of my favorite things to do when I'm solidifying my plans in
My Disney Experience. I know it's not like that for everyone though, especially when you're traveling with little ones, so let's chat about how to make your dining plans when someone in your family is a picky eater.
Dining locations are really flexible and for the most part, you do not have to order a meal for each person that is at the table. At most Table-Service and Quick-Service locations, your youngest son can share off of your plate or skip eating in favor of grabbing something else later. There are a few exceptions, like at a
Buffet or Family-Style meal, a
Character Dining experience, or a
Dinner Show, where everyone who is on the reservation must pay the listed price. Dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort know that kids are special guests with a wide range of likes and dislikes so while menus will differ from restaurant to restaurant, you will always be able to find classic favorites like mac and cheese, pizza, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!
I hope this answers your question, Jerry, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
