My family and I will be visiting Magic Kingdom on November 2nd and 3rd. I noticed that the Country Bear Jamboree lists no times available on those dates. Is there a reason why? Will the show be performing on those dates?

Howdy, Danielle! I see you’re not “fur” from visiting Big Al and Trixie at the Jamboree! It’s my husband’s favorite respite from the rain and often times, his preferred way to rest his legs. By now, he knows many of the lyrics and adores the punny jokes!

I cross checked and yes, performance times are still not listed after November 1st. I have not read on the Disney Parks Blog of any planned reFURbishments, but they may be feeding the bears or perhaps stockpiling for the winter at this time. Keep checking back on the calendar for updates or added performance times, and I hope that when you are on property, the bears are tuned up and ready to sing for you. Always pass through Frontierland on your way to get a churro to see if they are performing! If Grizzy Hall is closed for any reason, you can always hang out on the street in Frontierland and ask a Cast Member if the Country Bears themselves are due for a dance party that day. In June this summer, I was able to shake my claws and tail along with several of the “band” members for a few minutes and snap pictures of us dancing. It was a hoot!

After your dance party, refuel at Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn with my favorite nachos. YUM! If I can help you schedule any more hairy fun, please let me know. Come back real soon, ya’ hear? ~ Lindsey P.
