Jennifer:
With the age of your children, I'd recommend
Beach Club Villas, hands down! Saratoga Springs Resort, in my opinion, is for the older set who enjoy more of the surrounding upscale amenities like the adjacent golf course, plethora of tennis courts, its spa, and shopping at Downtown Disney across the water.
You'll find Beach Club nestled between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios and a comfortable walk to each! Across Crescent Lake stands the Boardwalk with fun games, magicians and booths just perfect for your kid's ages. Our family has kids almost in the same range as yours (13, 12, 9, 4 when we visited last year) and had a blast staying in the Boardwalk area. When the parks' closed, we were able to amble home enjoying the sights and sounds.
What makes Beach Club stand out is its pool area. A beach with sand sits right beside a pool that has jets for a small lazy river and there's sand on the bottom of all the pools! I even went down its long slide last year! The hotel also offers movies on the beach. Make a reservation for breakfast with Minnie and the gang at Cape May Cafe early before heading to the parks.
Tickets for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary-Halloween-Party are on sale now and prices begin at $53.95 for advance tickets for adults and $47.95 for kids from 3 - 9 on non-premium nights. Don't miss its longer-than-usual parade nor its fireworks show that envelopes Main Street not just the castle. And bring a big bag for all the candy!
Wishing y'all a spooktacular vacation!
