    Hi Michelle!

This is a great question.  Those are the two Disney Moderate Resorts that I usually recommend so I think you made a great choice.  Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter has a lot of fans who absolutely love it, but I prefer Port Orleans Riverside.  I like that Riverside has a larger food court and a Table Service restaurant.  However, Port Orleans Riverside is definitely much more spread out that French Quarter and has multiple bus stops.  The pool area, including the playground, is awesome at Riverside but the pool at French Quarter is fine for young children.

My recommendation would be to base the decision on the food court if you think you will need to make sure of it often.  If so, then go with Riverside as long as you don't mind that you might have to walk a bit unless you have a preferred room.  If you think you will only need the food court for breakfast, then go with French Quarter.

I hope this helps!  Good luck with your decision, and please write back with more questions!
