Hi, My family is visiting over Halloween. My 4yr old is too timid for the not so scary party. My resort's (CSprings) last year's calendar shows limited trick or treating. Is there other trick or treating options aval? Thanks for all your great advice!

    Hi there, Meredith!

In Halloween 2011, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort did offer quite a few activities!

From a copy of the Recreation sheet:

    1 p.m. - Skeleton Dance Party
    2 p.m. - Pitchburst
    3 p.m. - Oogie Boogie Pool Party
    4 p.m. - Pumpkin Toss & Creepy Critter Round-up
5 p.m. - Create Your Own Halloween Craft
5 p.m.-8 p.m. Trick-or-Treating at the following candy stops: Panchito's Gifts & Sundries • Maya Grill • Pepper Market • Cafe Rix • Lobby • Dig Site Pool
    6:30 p.m. - Campfire
8 p.m. - Movie from beyond the grave: Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas

It can definitely be assumed that you'll find many (if not all) of the same activities on October 31, 2012. However, the information is not always released to Resort hotel Cast Members until shortly before the week's schedule of event is to come out.

You might want to consider calling the Resort at (407) 939-1000 a couple of days prior to your arrival to see if the calendar has been released. But again, Halloween is such a great holiday that you're sure to find something fabulous to do at the Coronado Springs.

    Have a great trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
