My family will be visiting for our first time in March. All dining reservations are made except for one day. Are there any restaurants that we may be able to get into without having a reservation? A wait time is expected of course.

Hello, Frank!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

I simply love hearing from guests who are about to experience Walt Disney World for the first time ever! You and your family are finally going to know what the MAGIC is all about.  Every minute of your day will be filled with MAGIC!

I want to commend you on setting those dining reservations early. Trust me, it can get very frustrating walking from restaurant to restaurant only to be turned away.  After all, you are visiting during a very busy time of year.  You may be lucky at snagging a spot at any WDW Restaurant by just walking up, but it does not look good.  However, it has been done before and I am speaking from personal experience.  I have had luck at the restaurants that offer an "all-you-care-to-eat" dining experience.  For example, the Crystal Palace, which is located inside the Magic Kingdom, is a great place to start.  Also, Disney's Hollywood & Vine, located at Disney's Hollywood Studios, is another restaurant where my family has been lucky enough to just walk up. Your best luck would be to find a restaurant inside the parks.  Many of the resort restaurants are usually filled.  It may be because the folks eating in the parks simply eat quickly in order to continue with their day.  I strongly suggest trying to find a dining reservation prior to your visit.  Call (407)WDW-DINE and let a Cast Member help you with your last dining reservation.

Again, I am so excited for you and your family!  May your vacation be filled with many MAGICAL moments that will last a lifetime.

~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~
