    My family will be visiting DW from 9/28-10/4. I read that the 40th anniversary for MK is 10/1--are there any special events planned at the park that day?

    Hi Katie!
    You can almost bet that there will be some Magical happenings in the Magic Kingdom on October 1st, but as of yet, nothing has been announced. Disney likes to do things in a big way, with the most possible fanfare, so I believe they will wait until sometime this summer to announce what, if anything, will be going on. I will be shocked if it isn't something awesome.
    I hope you get to experience something great during your visit and don't forget to sing "Happy Birthday" to the castle!
