Hi. My family and I will be visiting DW for the first time from 7/1-7/6. We were going to do the dessert party on the 4th, but weren't quick enough in making the reservation. :( So now I'm wondering where the best place is to be for the fireworks?

    Hello Jenny!

Wow!  What a great question!  I would have to say that my absolute all-time favorite place to view Wishes Nighttime Spectacular with my family would have to be on Main Street between Casey’s Corner and the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor.  In fact, I was doing some research on this a couple of months ago.  I found out from touringplans.com (an unofficial Walt Disney World website) that there is a high point on Main Street about 20 feet in front of Casey's Corner and The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor.  This area will make you slightly higher than everyone else.  It's really true!  And with the large crowds in July, you need to take any height advantage you can.

If you want to avoid the large crowds, you can also watch Wishes from the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort!  You have a great view of the fireworks AND the music is played on the beach for you to enjoy.

If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!

    Wes
