Dear Stephanie,
September's a great month to visit the
Disneyland Resort!
It's usually still warm and sunny, not as crowded as the busy summer months since school is back in session and the iconic Fall decorations start making an appearance around the Parks!
The Fireworks at Disneyland are a must-see celebration of Magic!
Did you know you can buy accessories with built-in lights programmed to beam along with the Fireworks? It's called
Made with Magic and it's very cool!
To answer your question, entertainment schedules are usually released about two weeks in advance. This means you'll have to wait a little longer before you can see which days the Fireworks Show will be offered.
I can say that pending no winds or other weather interruptions, the Fireworks Show generally happens every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in September. There is typically a weekday show as well but again, that schedule would only be available up to two weeks in advance.
On a final note, make sure you check back on the Disneyland website to see if you'll be around for
Mickey's Halloween Party. It's a Spooktacular costume celebration with unique Halloween-themed activities and trick-or-treating opportunities throughout the Park. The dates have not been released yet but in past years, there have been dates available in September!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Have a Magical day,
-Anabel M.
