Hey there, hi there, ho there, S. I'm as happy as can be to see you back at planDisney with another question!
Your next visit to
The Happiest Place on Earth is just around the corner - I'll bet you and your family are anticipating the magic! I see that my
planDisney pal Jen W. recently gave you the
awesome tip to take the
Disneyland Monorail straight into
Disneyland Park. It may not be as fast as a magic carpet or as quick as Tarzan swinging on vines but it is my absolute favorite entrance into either of the Disneyland Resort theme parks. Getting a bird's eye view of the entire resort is truly special!
While Disneyland Hotel Guests do not have a hotel-exclusive special entrance, as those Guests at Pixar Place Hotel do, there is an entrance into
Disney California Adventure Park from
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa that I think you must try! To use this entrance, enter the Grand Californian Hotel from the
Downtown Disney District, just past
Marceline's Confectionery and
The Disney Dress Shop. Walk toward the hotel lobby, making a left when you get to the Great Hall. Continue past
Storytellers Cafe, where you will make your way through security and find yourself right inside Disney California Adventure Park by Grizzly Peak. This is a fun way to enter the theme park that not many people know about!
S, as your visit will occur during the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, I think the Grand Californian Hotel park entrance is meant for you! Hopefully, you are a foodie like me, so you will want to scope out the awesome "Disney Eats: Foodie Guide to Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival 2024" article over at the
Disney Parks Blog for all of the awesome festival foods. As my
planDisney bestie and realtor extraordinaire Brent would say, that special park entrance is prime real estate! It'll put you a stone's throw away from
Soarin' Over California, which you can ride during its limited return to the park during the Food & Wine Festival.
I hope this information is helpful, S. Please feel free to
stop back by with any other questions!
See ya real soon!
Melissa
