My family and I will be visiting Disneyland for the first time in October. We are planning to buy 2 day, 1 park per day tickets. Is it possible to upgrade our 2nd day to a park hopper while in the park if time permits?

Hi Paula! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

I'm sure you're excited about your upcoming trip to Disneyland Resort, and I wouldn't blame you for upgrading your admission ticket to a Park Hopper subject to availability once. I've got good news for you: Upgrades are possible at the parks. To upgrade your one park-per-day ticket on the second day of your visit, simply visit the ticket booths in the Esplanade between the Main Entrances and let the Cast Member know you'd like an upgrade. Be aware that you will have to pay the price difference and prices are subject to change. Currently, if it's 11:00 AM or later, once you complete the transaction, you'll be able to visit either park. Pretty easy, right?

You'll be visiting at one of the best times of the year: Halloween Time! Be sure you're following Disney Parks Blog for all the updates on the festive décor, treats, entertainment, and more, which you'll get to experience during your visit. My favorite seasonal addition is the attraction overlays you'll find at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on select attractions like Haunted Mansion Holiday in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park. It's a spooky good time!

    Happy haunts.
