Tim from TN Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My family and I are visiting Disneyland in early June. We are staying one night at Pixar Place and then the next day moving to the Disneyland Hotel for the remainder of the trip. Will Guest Services move our luggage from Pixar Place to Disneyland Hotel?

Hi, Tim, and welcome back to planDisney. It's always so nice to hear from you! I'm thrilled that you'll be maximizing the magic staying at both the Pixar Place Hotel and Disneyland Hotel on your next visit! Oh boy!

You are in for a delightful stay at both Disneyland Resort Hotels. My son and I adored the whimsical artistry of the Pixar Place Hotel on our recent visit, and the chance to hear Joe Gardner from "Soul" tickling the ivories in the lobby is a magical moment, for sure.

Thanks for your great question about transferring luggage from one hotel to another, Tim. I spoke with a friendly Cast Member who confirmed that, on the morning of your check out from Pixar Place Hotel, you may bring your bags down to the bell desk, and they will move them to Disneyland Hotel for you. How magical!

During your stay at the Disneyland Hotel, you must check out the miniature Big Thunder Mountain diorama of Frontierland's famous coaster on the first floor of the Frontier Tower lobby. This model is a re-creation of the original used by Imagineers in the 1970s to create Big Thunder. It is incredible and enthralled our whole family – and not just because it is one of our all-time favorite rides!

And you're clearly a Disney pro, Tim, so you may already know this, but I wanted to make sure to mention that you definitely want to take advantage of Early Entry, a magical perk for Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests, which allows you into one of the two parks each day 30 minutes prior to official park opening. Make your park reservations for Disneyland Park on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and California Adventure on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to utilize Early Entry. But always double check the Daily Events Schedule prior to your visit! It will confirm which park has Early Entry on any given day, and so much more, including entertainment offerings!

I hope this has been helpful in your planning, Tim, and that you and your family have the most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! If you think of anything else to chat about, like maybe where to find the best Disneyland snacks or some strategies to make sure you hit all your top priorities, stop on by again and ask me another question! I could talk about Disneyland all day long.

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
