My family will be visiting Disneyland Californie for the day on 9/29/18. We have dinner reservations at Goofy's Kitchen. Is this restaurant in the park? If not, how do we get there from the park? Are there trams or monorails?

Howdy, Evelyn! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Yay! I am so excited that you and your family will be dining at Goofy’s Kitchen during your upcoming trip. It is so much fun and there are so many yummy options for dinner including an expansive variety of tasty desserts. Goofy’s Kitchen is located in the Disneyland Hotel which is just a short walk from the parks. If you exit Disneyland Park, you will turn right and head through the Downtown Disney District. Once you get to the end, you will see a huge Sorcerer Mickey hat that says the Disneyland Hotel. Continue on under the hat and straight past the pools on your left until you see the sign and entrance for Goofy’s Kitchen. Use this interactive map to help guide your way.

If you want a more relaxing journey, you can hop aboard the Disneyland Monorail in Tomorrowland and it will whisk you away to the Downtown Disney District. From the monorail station, turn right and head toward the hotel. Be sure to check the wait time for the monorail on the Disneyland app before you decide to take this route. Sometimes it’s faster to simply walk from the park to the hotel which will take you about 5-10 minutes.

I hope your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is full of good food, goofy fun, and great memories!
