My family is visiting DisneyLand and California Adventures on Monday, May 26; Tuesday, May 27; and Wednesday, May 28. What are the hours of the 2 parks for those May dates?

Greetings, Rashelle, and welcome to planDisney. Golly, the timing of your visit to the Disneyland Resort is picture-perfect! You'll arrive just as the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration is kicking off. There will be special entertainment, colorful decorations, food and drinks, collectible merchandise, and more, all centered around the theme of "Celebrate Happy!"

As far as theme park hours go, it's a little too early to confirm specifics. Generally, park hours are added to the Disneyland website and mobile app around 60 days in advance on a rolling basis. I suggest checking the Hours & Events Calendar in late March to see the posted hours for your late-May trip.

Rashelle, knowing that Grad Nites are typically held in May and June, I checked the event schedule for 2025 and learned that there will, in fact, be Grad Nights at the Disneyland Resort on May 27 and 28, 2025. On those dates, California Adventure will close a little earlier than usual (typically around 9:00 p.m.), and you might find the parks to be a little busier during the day. If you'd prefer to experience the parks without event crowds, you may want to consider adjusting your theme park reservations.

I couldn't be more excited about the return of the Paint the Night Parade. It's one of my favorite parades, literally painting the streets of Disneyland with the glow of more than a million colorful LED lights. Music fills the air as dazzling floats and Disney friends make their way along the parade route. If your plans allow, you should certainly make time to watch this nighttime spectacular!

Rashelle, I'd like to wish you a trip full of smiles, joy, and unforgettable core memories at the Happiest Place on Earth!
