Hello! My family and I are visiting Disney World in September. Is social distancing being implemented for guests while standing in the queue for attractions?

    Hi Daniel! Welcome to planDisney!

My family has visited the Walt Disney World Resort during many different months of the year, but September has been the month we've vacationed there the most. The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is our favorite of the EPCOT events, plus we can't get enough of the Mickey-shaped pumpkins lining Main Street, U.S.A. I think you'll love it as much as we do!

On my most recent visit earlier this month, the lines that were previously placed on the ground for physical distancing were no longer in the queues. While masks are required for all indoor queues, you will not see the distancing markers. However, many of the plastic barriers between the rows in line were still up during my visit. Keep in mind that this is subject to change at any time and may be different when you visit as Disney continues to monitor the health and safety of Guests and Cast Members.

I recommend taking a look at the Know Before You Go page that I just linked to read up on all the current protocols including face coverings and cleaning procedures so you can be best prepared for your upcoming visit!

I hope you have the BEST vacation, Daniel! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
