My family and I will be visiting Disney World from 12/20-12/27. I have 3 senior citizens that will be using scooters. Can I take in 3 folding tripod stools for them, so when we go into areas that do not allow a scooter, they may be able to sit and wait?

    Welcome back, Julie!

Visiting during the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort is such a magical time. I love seeing Disney Resort hotels filled with Christmas decor and themed trees as well as the theme parks with garland galore.

For the safety of all Guests, folding chairs or stools are not permitted in the parks. Most of the queues are ECV friendly, so those traveling with you should have no problem navigating the line and can use ECVs right up to the attraction vehicle loading areas. There are a few attractions, such as Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, where ECVs are not permitted in the queue and Guests must transfer to a provided wheelchair before entering. You can find all the information about the accessibility of attractions via Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities page.

I hope you find this information helpful as you plan your December visit. Be sure to visit Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to enjoy fresh roasted chestnuts and see the gingerbread house built right in the lobby. Please let us know if we can answer other questions you may have.

    Happy Planning!
