Hey there, Bret, and welcome to planDisney!
You’ve visited us here at planDisney at the right time. Your next Disney adventure is going to be here before you know it. Although planning means researching Resort hotels,
Lightning Lanes, and
Memory Maker, you’ll find that your trip itself will be more magical.
If you booked your vacation package directly with Disney, it only includes a Resort hotel stay and theme park tickets. However, while booking your package or afterward, you can also add on Memory Maker (and a Disney dining plan). If you don’t remember doing this, then it’s probably safe to say that you don’t already have it. Did you book with a third-party Disney vacation planner? If so, then you’ll want to reach out to them to see if they added it.
Memory Maker is something that I absolutely have to add to my
Disney World annual pass every year. It’s hands down the best way to capture moments—and the photo quality is fantastic! Here’s how you can purchase Memory Maker: Head over to the
Disney PhotoPass webpage. Select “Get Memory Maker.” I recommend that you purchase it at least 3 days before your trip begins because you’ll get a decent discount. Qualifying military families can save even more, so check out the
military webpage for more information.
After you’ve made your purchase, your access to Memory Maker activates when you visit Disney World and capture your first family moment. Give each photo about 5-10 minutes to appear in your
My Disney Experience app. If your Disney PhotoPass photographer has you all do something special toward the end of your session, it’s probably a MagicShot photo or video. This takes a bit to upload to your app. But trust me, it’s worth the wait! You have 45 days from each photo taken to download your memories.
Bret, I hope that you enjoy every second of your upcoming trip. If you have additional questions before, during, or even after your visit, give us a holler
here at planDisney. See you real soon!
Magic always,
LeAndra
