My family will be visiting Disney world in October and we're going to mickeys not so scary Halloween party. What is the weather like at that time of year?Do you suggest long sleeves while trick or treating or us it still t shirt weather? thanks

    Hi Caitlin,

October is still part of our Florida summer with weather very similar to May. Generally, you will find the high temperature in the mid 80s throughout the month with lows in the mid 60s. If there's a breeze, it may feel a little cool at night to some people, but I find I'm usually comfortable with shorts and T-shirts at Walt Disney World at that time of year.

You may want to include a light jacket or windbreaker for later in the evening if you are prone to be cool.

Just because the calendar says fall, don't forget the sunscreen. And while the summer rains drop off dramatically in October, it's still a good idea to have a rain poncho handy in case a shower pops up.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let us know if we can offer any other assistance as you make your plans. Enjoy your vacation and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
