Hello me and my family will be visiting Disney world March 17-23 and they would like to dress up as their favorite Disney cartoon character. Is that ok?

    Hello, Karen!

You are in for such a wonderful family trip to Walt Disney World this Spring!

Children are always welcome to dress up in Disney costumes throughout the parks, so have fun and allow them to pick their favorites and wander through the magic in character. (Some of my favorite photos are of my then-infant son dressed up as Winnie the Pooh WITH Winnie the Pooh at The Crystal Palace. So sweet...)

Adults, on the other hand, are discouraged from dressing up as Disney Characters, just to be sure that children don't mistake them for "official" characters. Festive attire, however, is always welcome, so feel free to don your Mickey Ears or Goofy Hat to get in on the fun.

Have a great trip! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them; I'd love to help!
