Our family will be visiting Disney World June 2017. What are the best days to visit each park? Thanks,

    Hello Jan!

Thank you for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel again! We appreciate your visits and your questions.

You didn't mention whether or not you'll be staying on property, but I usually plan our park days based on taking advantage of Extra Magic Hours (for Guests staying at a Disney Resort Hotel.) You can take a look at the Park Hours & Calendar to see what the scheduled hours and Extra Magic Hours are during your vacation. Otherwise, Magic Kingdom Park tends to be the busiest on the weekends and on Mondays. We find it best to visit it, if possible, on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Beyond that, I haven't found that it matters too much, especially in June, for which park we visit each day so it sometimes just depends on when we can make our Advanced Dining Reservations.

There have also been some pretty exciting announcements this week regarding new experiences coming to Walt Disney World Resort. Just today it was announced that Disney's Animal Kingdom's Rivers of Light will begin next week. It was also announced that Pandora - The World of Avatar will open shortly before your visit and there will be a new nighttime fireworks show, "Happily Ever After," above Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom!

Have an incredible vacation, Jan, and as always if we can assist you with anything else, please don't hesitate to ask.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends.
