    My family and I are visiting Disney World over the July 4th weekend. Are there any special character meals or appearances in the patriotic attire?

    Hi there Susan,

    There will be so many wonderful events happening around the Walt Disney World Resort in celebration of our beautiful nation's birthday!  From special dinners to amazing fireworks displays, there is no place I'd rather be on Independence Day!

    When comes to meeting the characters in their 4th of July finest, my suggestion would be to visit The American Adventure Pavilion located in the World Showcase area of Epcot.  In addition to Patriotic performances by Epcot's own Voices of Liberty and the amazing beats of the Spirit of America Fife and Drum Corps you and your family will find photo opportunities with several of your favorite Disney characters all decked out in their red, white, and blue!

    That aside, there will be lots of special events taking place resort wide and while this year's lineup has not yet been announced, I encourage you to check out the Disney Parks Blog for a recap of last year's offerings which should give you an idea of what to expect!
