Hello my family and I will be visiting Disney World for the first time in September. There will be 9 of us including a 5 year old boy, 4 year old girl and a 3 year old boy. Any suggestions for us first timers on how to make their 4 days magical?

    Hello, Andrea!

Congratulations on planning your family's first Walt Disney World vacation! September will be here before you know it! My first piece of advice is to make dining reservations as soon as you are able. Many of the restaurants fill up quickly, but you may be able to snag a reservation for kid-favorite dining locations - like Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant and 'Ohana - if you check back often.

Make sure to secure FastPass+ selections in advance of your visit. Disney's FastPass+ service helps guests experience even more magic by reducing the time spent waiting in lines for favorite attractions, like Toy Story Midway Mania! and Peter Pan's Flight. You can even get the kids involved in the process by asking questions about what they want to experience, like meeting a favorite character or viewing a special live performance.

You may find the Preschool Planning Page very helpful when planning your family's vacation, as well. This resource offers a list of tot-friendly attractions, tips and even a sample itinerary for visiting the theme parks with small children.

I hope you have a magical vacation, Andrea! If you have any other questions or would like personalized recommendations for must-visit attractions or restaurants, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. Happy planning!
