It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Gina!
Easter at Walt Disney World Resort sounds like a fantastic way to spend the holiday with your family. It will be a beautiful time of year to visit because the Theme Parks will be in full bloom for the spring! Planning for a holiday weekend can be a bit overwhelming, but I'm happy to walk you through how I would plan those days in order to get the most out of my vacation if I were staying the same weekend as you.
Since you asked about
Extra Magic Hours, I assume you're staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and would like to take advantage of that extra time in the Theme Parks exclusively for Resort Hotel guests. I think that's a great idea, and that you should plan your time in order to start early in the Theme Park that has Extra Magic Hours each day. That would mean visiting
Disney's Hollywood Studios on Sunday, April 12 and
Disney's Animal Kingdom the next day on Monday, April 13. Those Theme Parks will open at 8 a.m. on each of those days, giving you a full hour to experience your favorite attractions before other guests arrive for the day. Since it is a holiday weekend, Saturday will be a very popular day for guests to visit all four of the Theme Parks, so if you were planning on spending one day enjoying the pool and the amenities at your Resort Hotel, that would be the day that I would choose.
Have a magical day, Gina, and good luck with your planning!
