Hi, My family will be visiting Disney world for Christmas 2019....my son loves water parks..would it be smarter to buy tickets in advance for the water park or just purchase them the day of depending on the weather?

    Greetings Kathryn!

I am with your son on loving water parks! And, you can't go wrong with either Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park or Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Either makes for a splash-tastic day. We have gone when it is HOT, and we have gone when it is a bit cooler. All the water park pools and attractions are heated, so being in the water is not the issue. However, in my opinion, I prefer the time spent out of the water to be warm as well.  With that said, I would probably wait until I could see a 10-day forecast before locking into my water park day. If you are confident that you would like to visit a water park during your visit, you can go ahead and purchase tickets ahead. As of now, water park tickets are not tied to specific dates like most theme park admission.

I hope this helps with your planning! If you have more questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel - we love to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
