    Hi, My family and I are visiting Disney World for the Christmas holiday, for the first time! We wanted to know how long are the decorations and the festivities will be and what are the times of the parks in December? Thanks

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family loves visiting Walt Disney World Resort around Christmas, and what a magical time for a first visit. In past years, as soon as the last Halloween party is over, crews begin working to transform the Magic Kingdom for the holidays. You can usually expect the holiday decor and some entertainment to extend into the first week of January. 

    Although you can find the hours of operations for the theme parks, the entertainment schedules are still being revised and should be updated soon. Keep checking the My Disney Experience mobile app or online entertainment schedule for times and events. Whether you want to learn about Holidays Around the World at Epcot or see Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade in the Magic Kingdom, all the details and times will be just a few clicks away using the mobile app! 

    Be sure to plan time at Disney Springs, where you can enjoy live holiday entertainment, shopping and dine at one of the fantastic restaurants! Also, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to stay up-to-date with the holiday offerings that may be available during your visit! Please visit us again soon!
