My family of 6 will be visiting Disney world around Christmas this year and we are staying off site. My question is, will we still be able to make dining reservations 180 days early? Or is that restricted to guests staying at Disney resorts only? Thanks!!!

    Hi Melissa,

You are welcome to make Walt Disney World dining reservations 180 days in advance, no matter where you are staying during your visit. Dining reservations are always a good idea, especially if you are visiting during a busy time like the holidays.

I always like to have at least one reservation per day and often alternate between lunch and dinner. My family doesn't really eat breakfast and normally likes to have just one big meal a day, so that schedule works well for us.

You've got a few months to decide what reservations will be on your must list. I love scanning the Walt Disney World menus and anticipating the dining experiences for upcoming trips. Please feel free to check back with me if you'd like recommendations. I love to talk about the food at Walt Disney World!
