Hello! My family of 4 will be visiting Disney World in April. This will be our first time using the DDP. My 9-year-old son usually eats more than me, so my question is - can he order an adult QS meal? Or is he limited to the kids meals? Thanks!

    Hello, Laura!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are delighted to answer your question regarding your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

Your family is really going to enjoy the Disney Dining Plan! You are also going to love the refillable mug and the two snack credits you will receive for each night of your stay. Since your son is nine years old, you will be paying the child price for the Disney Dining Plan. Because of this, your son will have to order from the kid's menu.

I have five children, so my family has dealt with this issue before. We solved our problem by allowing my eight year-old son to order an adult Quick Service meal with my wife's Disney Dining credit, and then she ordered off the kids menu. She did not do this for every meal; however, my son was very grateful when she made some sacrificial MAGIC for him!

If you have other questions, please let us know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
