Hi My family and I are visiting Disney ,the week of May 23. What is the weather like? What clothes should we pack.

    Hi Diane,
May is a great time to visit!  Although temperature can vary, the average daytime high is 31 degrees Celcius (88 degrees Fahrenheit) and evening lows of 18 degrees C (66 degrees F) - much like summer in Ontario.  So shorts and T-shirts are definitely in order for the day, with a sweatshirt or jacket handy for the evening.  There could be some rain so an umbrella or rain jacket would be good to have on hand.

If you do get caught with unexpected weather, the shops in the theme parks have every type of clothing available.

For a little extra piece of mind, I always check the weather services prior to leaving home to see what the seven-day forecasts have to say.   Have a fantastic time!

Walt Disney World stole my heart when my parents introduced me to the magic the year it opened. I fondly remember my first 'Mickey Mouse in a Glass House' balloon! I still visit with my parents-and now with my husband and our two teens. Learn More About Lynn
