Welcome back to planDisney, Margaret!
Thank you for bringing another question our way. We are happy to continue to assist you as you plan new Disney adventures!
I believe resort hopping has always been one of the most popular activities for Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort! My family loves taking a day off from touring the theme parks to explore the dining, shopping, and entertainment opportunities available at
Disney Resort hotels.
However, as a result of the current situation, to
enter a Disney Resort hotel at this time you will need a confirmed room reservation for your stay. Day Guests who are not staying overnight need to have a confirmed dining reservation, so I recommend making reservations at restaurants located inside resorts you wish to visit (subject to availability). Dining reservations can be made
online or via the
My Disney Experience mobile app up to 60 days in advance.
planDisney tips: As you prepare for your visit, be sure to
check the latest updates on the Walt Disney World Resort, remember to make
Disney Park Pass reservations, and keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for news and announcements.
It was a pleasure answering your question, Margaret! I hope this helps you while planning and that you come back soon for more tips and advice.
Best Disney wishes,
Thiana
