Hi, my family and I are visiting Disney the week of Christmas 2014. We are staying at the animal kingdom lodge for the first time. Any recommendations on room types?

    Hi there, Lisa!

You are in for the experience of a lifetime at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  It is especially amazing when it is decorated for the winter holidays!  If your budget allows, I would definitely recommend that you book a savanna view room.  There is no better way to wake up than with a view of the animals.  You really never know what you will see.  The higher floor savanna view rooms will give you a more panoramic view, while the lower floors will bring you closer to the animals.  I hope this helps!

Please let me know if I can help answer any other trip planning questions.

Until then, I wish you a truly magical vacation!
