When we stay off property, we will use an already active or older MagicBand. These
MagicBands are already linked to our My Disney Experience account and are ready to use. If you have an existing MagicBand, just make sure that it is active by logging into your My Disney Experience account and clicking on "MagicBands and Cards."
If you don't have a MagicBand, you can purchase one on the ShopDisney website or mobile app. It will arrive at your home via "magic mail," and then you must link it to your My Disney Experience account. Once you sign into your account, click on "MagicBands and Cards" and then input the special code on the back of the MagicBand on the "Link a New MagicBand" prompt.
Admission Cards can also be picked up at Guest Relations at the entrance of each theme park. At Guest Relations, a Cast Member will provide you with an Admission Card for access to the theme parks and FastPass+ experiences. Once you are on Walt Disney World property, you can also purchase a MagicBand at most retail locations. There a Cast Member can assist you with linking it to your My Disney Experience account.
Your theme park tickets and FastPass+ selections automatically link to your My Disney Experience account, so have a MagicBand or admission card, will grant you access to the parks and FastPass+ lines.
