Me & my family are visiting disney florida for the first time in March 2012. We're wondering my husband is in the British Army, we have heard he may get discounted tickets etc.Could someone clarify what discounts he can get and also how to book in adva

    Hi Kristy!

You can get information on the latest military discounts here.  I'm only personally familiar with discounts for United States military personnel.  However, that does not mean there are none for members of the British Army.  I suggest contacting Disney directly or working with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.  Good luck!

By the way, since you said this will be your first time visit, I wanted to pass on a recommendation for a tour book.  I suggest picking up the book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal.  It's a great book for first timers as it has a lot of information, but is not overwhelming.  It's also a beautiful book full of color photographs.  It will give you a good idea of everything there is to do at Walt Disney World Resort.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
