Hi, my family and I will be visiting this December and want to make advance dining reservations and I am wondering if the 180 days is from the date you want to book your dining or from the day you arrive at the hotel (ie reservation date)

    Hi Cassandra,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for sending us your question!

As a Guest staying at Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you'll enjoy the exclusive privilege of booking advanced dining reservations 180 days before your check-in date, AND make up to 10 days of reservations for your on-property stay that very same day! Since you are arriving on-property on November 28, 2016, you'll be able to start booking dining reservation on June 1, 2016. Not only that, but you can book dining reservations up to December 7, 2016.

If you are staying at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Shades of Green Resort, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, any Disney Springs area resorts or any off-property hotels, the rules are different. You may start making advance dining reservations 180 days prior to the start of your stay, but only on a day-by-day basis. If you want to make reservations for every day of your trip, you will have to do so 180 days out from each day of your stay.

Disney Mom Tip: Book your advanced dining reservations through your My Disney Experience account, via the My Disney Experience Mobile app or by calling Disney Dining Reservations.

Wishing your family an unforgettable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
