My family is visiting 2/21-2/25 and will have a car. We have the park hopper option on our tickets and plan on going between parks on the same day. How much time should be expect to need to travel from one park to another?

Hi Sara!  Many guests enjoy having their own transportation while vacationing at Walt Disney World. We often have a car and it sits for some days as using the Disney busses or boats is easier from certain locations.  For instance using a bus from any of the Disney resorts will have you end up right at the gates of the Magic Kingdom. When driving your own car you will have to park in the lots and then take trams to either the ferry or monorail. The time for this can almost double the time it would take to use a Disney bus. Just something to think about when planning your days in the parks.

The timing of course will vary depending on traffic, parking attendants, and wrong turns! Just kidding..the signage is pretty easy to understand all around the Disney property!

Animal Kingdom to Epcot: about 16 minutes
Animal Kingdom to Studios: about 24 minutes
Animal Kingdom to Magic Kingdom: about 35 minutes to parking lot

Magic Kingdom to Epcot: about 30 minutes
Magic Kingdom to Studios: about 40 minutes
Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom: about 35 minutes

Studios to Animal Kingdom: about 24 minutes
Studios to Epcot: about 13 minutes
Studios to Magic Kingdom: about 40 minutes

Epcot to Animal Kingdom: about 16 minutes
Epcot to Studios: about 13 minutes
Epcot to Magic Kingdom: about 30 minutes

These are just average range of times and it isn't to the front gate but to the parking spot. Hope that helps with your planning. Have fun!
