    Hi there, my family will be visiting Animal Kingdom on Monday, Sept. 19, 2011. The park closes at 5 pm that day - at approximately what time will the last Festival of the Lion King show be starting? We want to see it before the end of our day!

    Hi Christine!

         The Festival of the Lion King in Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite live shows in Walt Disney World!  Festival of the Lion King typically has shows starting in the morning and running at various times throughout the afternoon.  The number of shows per day varies with the season and crowd levels, so I am not able to give you definitive times for the date in your question.  I would recommend that you pick up a Times Guide right when you enter Animal Kingdom that way you will be sure to see this incredible show.  The Times Guide will have the specific times for the Festival of the Lion King for that day.

    I hope that you have a magical time viewing the Festival of the Lion King on your next trip to Walt Disney World
