My family visited DisneyWorld last month. We had to cancel two dinner reservations. I have cancellation numbers for each restaurant, but was still charged $60.00 each on my credit card. I was not told there was a charge for this. How do I get a refund on

    Welcome to planDisney Marilyn!

I hope you had a magical vacation. I am sorry you are having issues with charges you received. As the planDisney panel cannot access your records (we are not cast members) I cannot be sure what happened but let me see if I can help!

When booking your Dining Reservation, a credit card is used to hold the reservation. Any reservation canceled less than 24 hours prior or if a "no show" is subject to a cancelation fee. While subject to change and may vary depending on the location, the fee is generally a $10 fee per guest on the reservation.

If you canceled prior to 24 hours and a fee was charged, please call to speak to a friendly cast member who will look into your account to get information for you.

Before calling, re-check your credit card statement online. Sometimes refunds take time to show up, so there may have been a delay in any credits showing.

I hope this all gets straightened out quickly. Best wishes to you!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
