Bonjour! Good Day! How is your family, Cassie?!
I’m so glad you came back to visit me here at planDisney. This time, to discuss one of my favorite subjects: comparing Disneyland Paris to Disneyland Resort in California! Oh là là!
You’re in for such a treat! Visiting Disneyland Paris is like Princess Belle discovering a new storybook in her fancy library of hers—new and a bit alarming …you’ll find a lot of similarities with the California resort, but you’ll definitely find yourself discovering
something there that wasn't there before. Disneyland Paris offers its own special mix of European elegance and details that bring out both magic and iconic French flair. From the breathtaking
Sleeping Beauty Castle (my personal favorite!) to classic attractions reimagined with unique Parisian twists, there’s so much to explore. For instance,
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a very different thrill with its underwater segments and extra tunnel twists! And
Pirates of the Caribbean takes you on an extended adventure where you’ll catch some new scenes and details not found in California. Trust me, there’s nothing like the thrill of exploring familiar rides with an extra dash of wonder.
For a family who’s already smitten with Disneyland California, Paris is absolutely worth the journey. Its two parks—
Disneyland Park and
Walt Disney Studios Park—combine all the familiar whimsy and nostalgia with some exclusive experiences like
Ratatouille: The Adventure and
Crush’s Coaster. And when you add in restaurants such as
Bistrot Chez Rémy and
Walt’s – An American Restaurant … well, let’s just say you’re in for an unforgettable feast!
So yes, Cassie, I always enthusiastically encourage every Disneyland Resort fan to carve out a day (or two!) for Disneyland Paris if they find themselves across the pond. It’s different enough to feel fresh but filled with the same warm magic that’ll make you feel right at home.
I hope these tips get you as excited as Chip whenever his momma takes him out to play, Cassie! If you have any more questions, think of me as your own personal Mrs. Potts and
ask another question.
I’ll be bubblin'. I’ll be brewin'.
C’est la fệte! Danielle
