Hi!
First, let's look at the current
Special Offers. There is a discount on hotel accommodations for May. Just go to Special Offers and see if it can be applied to your vacation.
My family likes to look for Hidden Mickeys. You can have a contest that the first person to spot 3 iconic figures picks the afternoon snack. Another fun way to add to your touring fun is to devise a scavenger hunt. Just use your browser to search for "Disney scavenger hunt" for ideas. On our last trip to WDW, we did a Candy Crawl inspired by
Disney Mom Erin. She wrote an article about her experience at www.disneyfoodblog.com. Our son chose a different candy in each country of World Showcase. This experience also allowed us to stop and take in some lesser-seen sights. It was so much fun!
Other ideas:
-Fishing at Port Orleans Riverside, followed by taking the boat to Downtown Disney.
-Take a Tour
-Get haircuts at the Harmony Barbershop
-Take a fireworks cruise such as the
Pirates and Pal voyage
-Take a lesson such as archery at Fort Wilderness
-Dress up like pirates at
The Pirate's League
-Attend a Movies Under the Stars
-Play
miniature golf
-Horseback riding or a wagon ride at Fort Wilderness
-Choose at least 2 entertainment options in each park that you've never stopped to enjoy on previous visits. Try the
JAMMitors in Epcot.
-Try a different restaurant
It's an entire "world" of recreational activities!
