My family visited Disney several years ago (our boys were 3 & 7). Now we are hoping to return in March of 2013 (they will be 8 & 10). We wanted to visit the parks for a few days, then take a 3 night Bahamian Cruise on the Disney Dream. Any sugge

Hi Rocky! Many families enjoy combining a Disney cruise with a few days in the parks for their vacation. You can book a land and sea package or book them separately. I like to do the parks or land segment first as it seems to be far more tiring and hectic of a pace. Then you can end with a more relaxing atmosphere aboard one of the wonderful Disney ships. Other guests have found the reverse order just as fun so that will be one decision you will need to make.

Second you will need to choose a Disney resort. Depending on budget you will have many choices and I will share my favorites in each category:
Value- Pop Century or Art of Animation Family Suites
Moderate- Port Orleans or Fort Wilderness cabins (a very different experience)
Deluxe- Yacht or Beach Club resort

You will be able to get transportation to Port Canaveral to resort to airport in any order you book your trip. I am sure this will be quite a trip for your family to experience both great Disney vacation options!
